Online Registration Information

ONLINE REGISTRATION

SACS Families,

We are excited to welcome students back to school on Wednesday, August 7. In preparation for the 24-25 school year, Online Registration will begin Monday, July 22 at 8 a.m. All returning SACS families and new SACS families who have received a PowerSchool login should click here and login to their Parent Account to complete the online process for each of their students.

Important Changes to Note:

If you are a returning family, you may notice the forms look different. It is our hope our district’s shift to PowerSchool’s Enrollment Express simplifies and expedites your online registration experience. While the information and permissions being collected is similar to Online Registration of years past, beginning this year, as required by the State Board of Accounts, you will be *REQUIRED to upload the following documentation as part of the Online Registration process.

Student’s Birth Certificate:
This one-time digital upload of the certificate will remain in the student’s file while at SACS

**Parent/Guardian Photo ID:
Annually, a digital upload of a parent/guardian’s government issued photo ID

**Two Proofs of Residency:
Annual documentation that verifies their student has legal settlement within the SACS attendance area. A parent/guardian must provide any one item from Group A and any one item from Group B.

One current item from Group A:

Closing documents from the purchase of your home
Deed
Rental agreement on letterhead
Purchase agreement of letterhead
Builder agreement on letterhead
Property tax statement from the most recent billing cycle (May/Nov.)

One current item from Group B:

Water, septic, electric or gas with the service address
Utility connect notice with service address
Established bank account statement (A newly establish account – less than 30 days – or bank papers indicating you have changed your address with them will not be accepted.)
Court documents containing physical address
Social Security benefits documentation with physical address
Medical bill with physical address
Paycheck stub with physical address
Mortgage statement with physical address

*While you may have provided the necessary documentation when you enrolled your student, we are now mandated to collect this information and will maintain it in the “Student Demographic Form”. While the process is simple to upload these documents, a “HOW TO UPLOAD” video tutorial will be available where the documentation is necessary.

**If you have more than one student attending SACS, only one upload of your government issued photo ID and proofs of residency documents will be necessary annually. You will have the option to “Submit for Family” saving the documents to your additional students’ files.
