On August 14, ET3 Petty Officer, Brittany Oquendo, a Summit mom, was able to surprise her son, Jayden, during his PE Class, giving him one last good-bye hug and kiss before deploying with the US Navy. Petty Officer Oquendo had been away on training, and Jayden did not expect to see her again until after her upcoming deployment was finished. Summit thanks her, and all her fellow military personnel, for their service.
