It's Rocket Science!

Seventh Graders in Mr. Lazoff’s and Mrs. Krueger’s science classes are testing rockets they built with 2 liter soda bottles and add-ons. Using a water pressure launcher, they run a few test launches, then make adjustments to fins, nose cones, or other structural componts to see if they can improve their rocket’s air time. Thinking creatively and critically, they are honing some of the skills we target in SACS’s Portrait of a Graduate while also learning about scientific principles.
