Summit Middle School

Students in Mrs. Krueger’s and Mr. Mazock’s 7^th Grade Bear Team Time worked in groups to create a mini golf course. Each group was assigned a particular area of the school, such as the Cafeteria, the Natatorium, the Library, or specific classrooms, and then created a hole for their assigned area. After all of them were constructed, the students installed them in the cafetorium and then had the opportunity to play all the holes. Working together, the students had opportunities to communicate and collaborate with each other and to think creatively and critically— skills targeted in SACS’ Portrait of a Graduate.
