2022 SMS Football
8th Grade Football
- Coaches: Matt Lindelien & Ryan Chell
- First Practice: Thursday, August 4th from 5:30-7:00pm
- Pre-Season Practices: 8/4, 8/5 (3:00-4:30), 8/8, & 8/9 from 5:30-7:00pm
- School Year Practices: Starting on Wednesday, August 10th and going forward for the rest of the season from 3:00-5:00pm, Fridays will be 3:00-4:30
- Parent Meeting: Monday, August 8th @ 7:15pm at the football field bleachers (if inclement weather, we will be in the gym)
- First Game: At Indian Springs on Tuesday, August 23rd following the conclusion of the 7th grade game, approximately 6:30.
- Note: Players need to wear athletic clothing, cleats/shoes, and bring plenty of water to each practice. The final day to come out for football will be Monday, August 15th, NO EXCEPTIONS. It’s crucial to be at those first practices to get acclimated to the weather. The earlier you begin working with us the better you will be!
7th Grade Football
- Coach: Charlie Giese
- First Practice: Thursday, August 4th @ 5:30-7:00
- All Other Practices: M-F from 5:30-7:00pm, beginning with the first practice on Thursday, August 4th.
- Parent meeting: Friday, August 5th, at 6:45pm at the football bleachers.
- First game: August 23rd at Indian Springs with kickoff at 5:00pm
- Note: Players need to wear athletic clothing, cleats/shoes, and bring plenty of water to each practice. The final day to come out for football will be Monday, August 15th, NO EXCEPTIONS.
