Summit Middle School is pleased to announce that Mr. Dave Force is our 2019 Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Force has been teaching Industrial Technology at Summit Middle School since we opened in 1993, beginning the year with a still-under-construction classroom and workshop that didn’t yet have power tools and equipment. For the past 25 years he has taught students to problem solve, plan, construct, collaborate, and create for both creative and practical purposes in traditional “shop” classes and now in pre-engineering courses through Project Lead the Way. Throughout his years at Summit, Mr. Force has extended patience and kindness to students and colleagues alike and has shared his time and talents to help with set design for our musicals. Summit Middle School is proud to recognize Mr. Force for his dedication to our school and our students.
