Spanish Club

DESCRIPTION

We learn about different cultural events in Latin America and Spain.  We make crafts: sugar skulls, papel picado, ponchos, cascarones, maracas and more.  We eat authentic food: tamales, churros, tres leche cake and more.

HOW TO JOIN OUR GROUP

There will be a handout 2-3 weeks prior and it will be announced in class and on the announcements in the mornings leading up to it.

MEETINGS

We meet once a quarter.  Students can attend after turning in form with parent signature.  They can come to the ones that interest them or works with their schedule.  There is a minimal cost of $2-$4 to help cover supplies for the crafts and food.  Spanish club has two chupa-chups sale to offset the actual cost of the activities.
