How can I tell if something is safe for people with nut allergies?
Read
the label! Manufacturers are now required to list all ingredients and
many put common allergens (like peanuts and other nuts) in bold or
include a separate note about their presence at the end of the
ingredient list.
People with peanut or tree-nut allergies cannot eat:
~Anything with peanuts or tree nuts (walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, etc.)
~Anything that says it contains traces of nuts or was processed on shared
equipment with
nuts or in a facility that also processes nuts.
~Anything made in a grocery store or independent bakery.
Thank you for helping us keep our nut allergy kids safe!!
